So, what the fuck is going on? Manmade horrors beyond our comprehension and we’re so beyond fixing or saving ourselves that we’ve just decided to shut the blinds and turn on Kill Tony for the night. Why should I care about the wealthy stealing our labor value when I’m BROKE?
We praise the American ideal of individualism yet it is that very same ideal that holds us from coming together. We are quite literally, funding a genocide perpetuated by a proxy military state we created decades ago. Yet they’ve created this sandbox just right where we are way too distracted, tired, and broke to even give a shit anymore. The American people are quite frankly, jaded, and I dont blame them.
Emotional intelligence and mindfulness is on the decline and i have reason to believe its by design. You really think everyone just decided one day they hated trans people? This shit is fed to us on a literal silver platter, you don’t even need to attempt to read the news anymore. No matter where you go, you see news in its most grotesque form. Snapchat telling me about Chrisean’s baby, Facebook mentioning a trans Olympic boxer from a fucking country where being trans is criminalized, and don’t even get me started on twitter. Just mindless trash and blatantly fake news. News doesnt even need to be right anymore, it just needs to be first.
Why am i writing this shit? i dont fucking know, maybe i have no one to vent to about it, maybe im pissed and want other people pissed too, maybe i just need to say fuck it and move to Thailand.
I’ve been meaning to share my mindset and the wisdom ive learned in some form or way. Share is the wrong word, express. i want to express how im feeling and my outlook on the world. I want this black mirror circus to end, or change at the very least. However, i think we all need to come to terms with the fact the only thing bringing late stage capitalism and all its psychopathy down is it itself.
